USF Esports YouTube
Before I was given responsibility for the USF Esports YouTube channel, it was a neglected aspect of our program. It only had 14 subscribers. In the first two weeks of regular uploading our Twitch channel VODs and short videos showcasing our in-person events, we have doubled our subscriber count.
The last video before I began was uploaded August 31, 2021. In January, 2022, we had only 55 views with 0.6 hours of watch time. In February, that viewer count increased to 174 with a watch time of 8.9 hours.
So far, only three days into March, we have received 246 views with a 3.7 hours watch time. March is projected to have high levels of channel growth continuing forward.
Our viewer demographics are similar to our Instagram follower demographics. 75% of our viewers are male, and 25% are female. An interesting metric is our viewer age, 100% of our viewers are in the 18-24 year-old range.
